Nike + battery died again

My nike+ battery died again. I’m guessing this was a result of me trying to solder directly to the battery. I’m going to give it another shot by soldering to pieces of metal and attaching them to the battery. I’ll keep you posted when I get a chance to do this.

It did work great for the 1/2 marathon I ran, though.

    How many hours where you able to use it before the newly replaced battery died?

    It lasted a few runs and it did get me through the AZ half marathon. I think the problem was that I soldered directly to the battery. The heat from soldering seemed to kill the battery. I’ve got something new in the works and I’ll post it if I can get it to work.
